This Car Rental Agreement is entered into 27 of Sep, 2024 between LEGIN
RENTALS LTD, a limited liability company incorporated the Companies Act, Chap 81:01
of
the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, having its registered office at LP#11 Bassa
Hill, La Brea, in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago (hereinafter referred to as “the
Owner”)
and of , in the said Republic of
Trinidad and Tobago (hereinafter referred to as “the Renter”) (collectively referred to as
“the
Parties”) and outlines the respective rights and obligations of the Parties relating to the
rental of a
car.
1. IDENTIFICATION OF THE RENTAL VEHICLE
The Owner hereby agrees to rent the Renter a passenger vehicle identified as follows:

(hereinafter referred to as “Rental Vehicle”).
2. RENTAL TERM
The Owner agrees to rent Vehicle to the Renter for the following period:
The Parties agrees that this Agreement terminates upon the End Date specified above.
Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, either Party may terminate this
Agreement prior to the End Date with at least one (1) day notice. If this Agreement is
terminated
prior to the End Date, the Parties will work together to determine whether a refund of
Rental
Fees is necessary.
3. SCOPE OF USE
The Renter will use the Rented Vehicle only for personal or routine business use, and
operate the
Rented Vehicle only on properly maintained roads and parking lots and with due care and
attention. The Renter will comply with all applicable laws relating to holding licensure to
operate
the vehicle, and pertaining to operation of motor vehicles. The Renter will not sublease the
Rental Vehicle or use it as a vehicle for hire.

4. MILEAGE
The Mileage of the Rental Vehicle is mileage at the time of commencement of this Car Rental
Agreement. Mileage on the vehicle is unlimited and subject to reasonable use.
5. RENTAL FEES
The Renter will pay to the Owner the rental fees for the use of the Rental Vehicle as
follows:
Fees: per day / week.
Fuel: Renter shall pay / is not required to pay for the use of fuel.
Deposit: $ 600. The Owner shall retain this deposit to be used, in the event of loss of
or
damage to the Vehicle during the term of this Agreement, to defray fully or partially the
cost of
necessary repairs or replacement. In the absence of damage or loss, said deposit shall be
credited
toward payment of the rental fee and any excess shall be returned to the Renter.
Should the Renter return the Rented Vehicle below the fuel gauge received at the time of
rental,
the Owner shall charge the Renter such fuel rate in the sum of________________.
6. EXISTING DAMAGE TO VEHICLE
The Parties acknowledge the existing damage to the Vehicle as notated below:

7. INDEMNIFICATION
Regardless of insurance coverage, the Renter shall fully indemnify the Owner for any loss,
damage, and legal actions, including reasonable attorney’s fees that the Owner suffers due
to the
Renter’s use of Vehicle during the term of this Agreement, including but not limited to,
damage
to the Vehicle, damage to the property of others, injury to the Renter, and injury to
others. The
Renter will also pay for an traffic violation tickets or other related violations received
while in
possession of the Rented Vehicle. This provision survives the termination of this
Agreement.
8. OWNER WARRANTY
The Owner represents that to the best of its knowledge and belief that the Vehicle is in
sound and
safe condition and free of any known faults or defects that would affect its safe operation
under
normal use.
9. RENTER WARRANTIES
The Renter agrees that Renter will not (a) use the Vehicle to carry any passengers for hire;
(b)
allow any other person to operate the Vehicle save and except for the persons identified in
clause
3 above; (c) operate the Vehicle in violation of any laws or for an illegal purpose and that
if the
Renter does, the Renter is responsible for all associated, tickets, fines, and fees; (d) use
the
Vehicle to push or tow another vehicle; (e) use the Vehicle for any race or competition; (f)
operate the vehicle in a negligent manner.
10. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be interpreted under, and governed by, the laws of Trinidad and
Tobago.
11. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Car Rental Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the Parties in connection
with the subject matter hereof and supersedes all agreements, proposals, representations and
other understandings, oral or written, of the Parties No alteration or modification of this
Agreement shall be valid unless made in writing and signed by an authorized Affiliate of
each
Party. The waiver by either Party of a breach of any provision of the Agreement shall not
operate
or be construed as a waiver of any subsequent breach and any waiver must be in writing and
signed by an authorized Affiliate of the Parties hereto. If any provision of this Agreement
is held
to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and
effect.
Any notice or other communication required or permitted hereunder shall be given in writing
to
the other Party at the address stated above, or at such other address as shall be given by
either
Party to the other in writing. Any terms of this Agreement which by their nature extend
beyond
its termination remain in effect until fulfilled and apply to respective successors and
rightful
assignees.
